So what happens next?

The next step is that the site will be tendered competitively by its current owners the Homes and Community Agency, through its Development Panel. This is expected to be during the second half of 2011. If sucessful, the CIC with its development partners will immediately start discussions with the relevant authorities. There is a large and unsatisfied demand for new affordable housing in east London.

At the same time, St Clements Bow CIC will commence detailed local community consultation, ensuring that the community’s views are taken on board as plans are drawn up.
